Plant Nursery Worker
New World Bonsai is a grower of bonsai trees from the ground up. We are constantly learning and striving towards producing world class trees that delight our customers. Our goal is to create a living sanctuary of beautiful trees and share the joy of bonsai with our customers.
We are currently seeking a worker with nursery experience. Bonsai experience is not necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Weeding of plants with great attention to detail
- Hauling fertilizer and trees
- Spraying of insecticide, fungicide, and herbicide
- Repotting young trees and basic tree work
- Landscaping and other labor
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be physically able to work in a job site environment to include lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, squatting, crouching and reaching
- Job Type: Part-Time
Experience:
- Experience in a nursery is required
Schedule:
- 7am - Noon (preferred but flexible)
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
